Greg Long is a lifelong pioneer Valley native with pit stops in Colorado and California. His professional career started at the age of 13 in the restaurant industry where the next 40 years were spent working in all aspects of front of the house service. His love of Marijuana and the Grateful Dead also began around this time, no coincidence there. When Greg returned to Western Mass, after seven years out west, he began his 3 decade long second career of cultivation. Growing marijuana actually was very similar to him as working in the restaurant industry in that there is always something to do and that you get out of it what you put into it. Having grown in 2 to 50 light rooms, both in the legal and the free market, there isn’t a lot that Greg hasn’t seen or done. He is always pushing himself to get more out of his rooms and his plants. He is constantly networking with growers he has met along his journey, from both coasts, and the people who made western mass famous for some of the best marijuana in the world.
